Subwoofer under fish tank

I plan on putting a 12" home theater sub directly under my tank.

What are the issues that I may have with such types of vibration? will corals be ok?

I don't think I'd do that.

Your fish will feel like they're being depth charged every time you watch TV.

LOL!!! I'd put a cushion on the subwoofer and use it as a seat instead :). Better to "feel the beat".

If you are serious, the short answer is "No" ;).

my quarantine tank is on the countertop and a subwoofer is in the cabinet below it. I went to a carpet store and got some thick carpet padding to separate the tank from the countertop. I cannot tell any difference in fish behavior if its quiet or Rick James is blasting away.
