Such a delicate balance?!?

I have three hogs - 2 clowns and a royal gramma. I have one citron goby that is looking a little thin. I tried feeding a bigger single dose of food so he gets a good portion. I've tried multiple smaller feedings. The citron goby is eager to eat yet the hogs clean out the tank before he can get a healthy portion. We all know and love that the more food/nutrients goes in the more algae grows. I've kept the algea at bay slightly but I want a healthy goby.

How do you ensure all your fish with different personalities get the ammount they need?

Similar thing with me...my 4 chromis and Mono eat up food as soon as it goes in the tank, and my anthias and clownfish were getting scraps.

I got better results turning my powerheads down (or off if yours are not controllable), and pouring half the food in on one side of the tank, and then quickly the other half on the other side. If you can spread it all out really well and reduce the flow the slower fish should be able to get some. I do this twice a day

Thanks... I guess that would be another option. I'll turn off the current and then feed them. We shall see if it makes a diference. That will also limit the Bubble Tip from eating that much. He's probably doubled in size in the 4 months I've had him.
