Such a thing as prolapsed rectum in fish?

I ask because that's the only way I can describe what I'm seeing. It is on Odontanthias Bourbanis(?) and seems very bloated.

I noticed a couple of weeks ago, at the bottom of it's vent as a raw looking protrusion. My first thought was worms so I gave Prazi soaked foods for 3 days. I stopped and it hasn't gone away.

These past two days it seems to have gotten bigger. It is still bloated looking, has been eating, but I don't know what this could be. It just looks like what I would imagine an inflamed vent would look like if you had GI problems.

Can anyone offer advice?

Possible decompression problems? How long have you had it? Where did it come from and how long had they had it?
