I am looking for some of those fancy suction cups to borrow or rent soon. Moving in a big tank into the house soon and this will make it a hell of a lot easier.

I get the dual suction cups from Harbor freight and I buy extras. I've use the multiple times on large tanks and they have worked fine

I used these dual suction cups too from HF. 1 on either side for a 120gallon

I know suction cups are safe, but that feeling of not having your fingers grip the bottom... scary...

I always call a bunch of friends and sacrifice their fingers instead

I'm more likely two use twice as many as needed incase one slips. But they are strong

I retract my statement. The professional ones ARE MUCH BETTER.

The HF ones are cheap at only $7.99 each, but only rated for 125 pounds. I have a pair I just bought your welcome to use. They worked great on the 300 acrylic tank I just moved. I would get a bunch more for your new nano.
