Suction Cups for Turbelle Pumps

I saw one of my mail order places is selling suction cups for the Turbelle Stream pumps. How good are these suction cups and will they fail in time.

They aren't from Tunze thats for sure. Do you have a link? Their is no way a suction cup could handle that much force so I wouldn't buy it. Either they have their parts wrong or they have made something or the suction cup they are showing is part of kit 3000.244 where it just acts as a spacer.

OK, that is part 3060.41 Suction Support for Turbelle pumps, it is suitable for the Electronic pumps and the regular Turbelle, the cups are some of the srtrongest on the market but they are not for the Streams and cannot handle that much pressure, they lack the peg that the Stream would mount on. I have used these, in fact years ago these were the included hardware which was much more traditional, a set of cups and a couple clips, they were OK but even back then a 1050gph 7410 in your sand was not a great way to wake up. On smaller pumps they work very well, especially if you silicon them in place- Tunze cups have a special design allowing them to be siliconed in place.
