Ok, so my royal gramma has always been kinda of an ***. Doesn't like anyone and spends most of his time in his cave. The whole time I've had him the only thing I've seen him do was open his mouth at other fish. Totally harmless. But today, while I was watching the tank, he grabbed my female clown by the gill area and held on for a good couple seconds. It was pretty violent. The clown is fine, but now I'm worried about this guy hurting someone.
In the 16 months I've had the tank this is the first real act of violence I've seen (besides the damsel I returned way way back). I tried very hard to create the most peaceful tank possible. So what should I do? Should I move around the rocks that form his cave, so that he doesn't have that to defend anymore? Or would that make him more ****ed off? Any advice is welcome.
