Sufficient light for a Derasa?

I have a 40g breeder (16" deep), and 3 Current USA Truelumen strips, all 453nm. Is this lighting sufficient for a derasa clam at the substrate level? I'm thinking about getting one.

Can you please add a link to the exact light you have? So far the ones I have found appear to be inadequate for clams.

TrueLumen Pro fixtures look like they might work if that's what you have.

Yes, they are the Truelumen pro, deep water blue. I can also add a 4th strip if needed.

I have a 12 inch derasa clam that grew from 2 inches under cheapy chinese Leds (160 watt) in a 120 gal tank.

no, those fixtures will not be sufficient.

they don't look nearly powerful enough, and if yours are all the deep blue ones, they're the wrong spectrum.

The total wattage maybe enough. 72 watts on your 40 gal breeder but the spectrum is not. Over the last 10 years or so LED advances a lot. Mainly we find that the actual spectrum of the light is important. These lights are too narrow in spectrum. The graph that they provide is really misleading. LED especially these light do not have those spectrograph. Most of the effective light, even Chinese ones are full spectrum light with multiple color em miter that mixed to form the color seen.
The strip you have is not good for coral or clams growth, IMO. I never used them so I do not have first hand experiences with them

Gotcha. Thanks! That's pretty much what I've been hearing, overall ok watts/lumens, but not spectrum. I've decided to put a clam on the back burner till after a lighting upgrade and getting some experience with sps. I figured that would be a better way to go.
