I have just four fish in my 90g now.. I'm looking for more that are unique and very pretty. I love my current fish and they all get along great. The tank is primarily SPS so I need something reef safe that wont pick on the others. For shrimp, I just have a few peppermint.

Are there any other tangs that will live in there and not fight? I had a yellow tang and took him out because he was getting too big and a bit of a jerk. :)

Can any angels go in there?

A kole tang would work, but the powder brown needs a minimum of 125 gallons. Koles can be real jerks too though.

The fish listed above I already have in there.. All sort of small-medium size. I will swap them out when too large.

I don't understand why people get fish they can't keep long term in the tank. Then when it gets big they sell it. That's like buying a puppy watching it grow then selling it because it out grew your house.

You may or may not have to re-home one of the tangs eventually. Dwarf angels are risky with SPS.... in smaller tanks with smaller colonies, I'd say they are a no go. How about some anthias or fairy wrasses? I know people on here scoff at common fish, but royal grammas are gorgeous, as are Allen's damsels.

As Peter mentioned, there are some great (though maybe common) small fish to choose from. Depending on how much sand you have you could look into a jawfish or shrimp/goby pair, both are really interesting and unique to watch. Plenty of wrasses out there too.

I'd stay away from most anthias. Mine did out grow my 90 and turned into a jerk. With those tangs I'd go small fish. I love my Bi color blenny. My foxface is cool but common.

Which anthias did you have?

I had pink squamis. The male was very aggressive and caused my tangs to be the same. I took the anthias out and the tank instantly was as peaceful as can be.

I like the foxface.. It has a nasty poisonous spine, right? Anything else bad about it? What does it eat, pellets/flake ok? Totally reef safe?! :)

I saw one at night and it was so cool how it camouflaged itself in the macro. I almost didnt see it.

I'm on the fence with anthais.. I think they're pretty but I dunno.. just something about them turns me off.

About rehousing fish.. I dont see a problem with it. I am mostly a coral guy so I never really bond with my fish or anything, but I totally do love my tangs listed above. I also prefer small things..most of my tanks are nanos. When tangs are tiny, I think they're so cute!
