What would be the best thing to use under my take to auto top off into the sump? I plan on putting somthing under there to where I only need to fill that once every couple of weeks

any food safe container that will fit under there will work just fine. or are you asking what type of ATO system you should buy? Are you pretty handy?

No not all that handy. I was thinking og using a 5 gallon bucket. Stupid questionbut do you just put the pump in the bucket and hook it up to the ato switch and run a line to the sump?

Yes connect the pump to a hose. Put a small hole in the lid of an old 5g salt bucket run the hose through it and into your sump.

I just seems so simple. I was wondering why more people dont do it. I have had a 30g for 2 years and never had a need for it. But now that I have moved up to a 150g seems almost a need
