I am getting away from my Eshoppes RS-200 as I want a fuge in my sump. My current setup is a mixed reef 48" 120 gallon Deep Blue Pro with dual corner overflows, and dual returns with a Sicce Syncra 4.0 return pump, and a reef octopus Classic 110-int skimmer. I am shooting for a Triton Style sump with a 40breeder and have attached a diagram of what I am wanting to build. Can you guys take a look and give me any critiques or suggestions? Bubble traps needed or no? Do I need valves on the drains? Do I need to add baffle where the drains enter fuge to minimize micro bubbles and kill turbulence? Etc, etc.... As always any and all input is much appreciated.
