Sump flow/return.

So I set up my system... I have an overflow with a 1-inch back-drilled bulkhead that has a durso-type pipe setup using a 1.25 inch pipe.

I know I've read it somewhere, but what should the flow through the sump be? I have a 72g tank with a 20g sump. I'm not even really sure how much GPH I can force through the hole. My knowledge of plumbing is pretty limited.

Also, any suggestions for pumps? I need 'em quiet. I've been looking at the Poseidon Titanium pumps, but (again) I'm really not sure how much GPH my overflow can take.

flow through sump should be 5-10x turn over but also depends on what your skimmer can handle if it is a in sump model
