sump heater prefs

What sort of heaters do folks use in your sumps? I see those cheap titanium submersibles on ebay, which look good in theory. Any experience with those?

I use this CONTROLLER with a different 300W heater that ALSO has it's own controller built in (Ebo Jager?) I think..

I was using the 500W that comes with it but it started to rust in the tank, go figure!

The controller seems to work VERY nice and I love it, I'm ordering one for each of my setups now.
I like the temp in BIG RED LED and I like that it will pull the power to the normal heater is it detects the tank is too high, (The normal heater gets stuck on, or has terrible thermal control of when to turn off: IE: too sloppy on the on /off for consistent temps)

I use multiple Ebo Jagers. I've done a TON of research on the forums and have found the most favorable reviews with these heaters.

Also use Ebo jager. What ever heater you get you should always hook it to a controller

Just an old idea rehashed . . . using several heaters of small sizes assures that if one sticks ON, it won't boil the tank. Likewise, if on STOPS, it won't let the tank go SF bay. We could do the math, but I think everyone understands what I mean. It may be a wee bit more expensive for the several heaters, but the peace of mind is worth it, n'est pas?
