Sump in pine aqueon stand

I have an aqueon pine stand similar to this:

I will have a 20 gallon tall sump with about 9-10" of water in the 36"x18" version of the stand. My question is regarding the bottom piece of plywood in the stand. It seems a bit flimsy. Can it support the sump properly?

Nevermind. I'm resigned to adding a couple pieces across the bottom to strengthen the existing plywood and minimize the flex.
