i have a 125 gallon tank i plan to add a sump by using a Eshopps Overflow Box Eclipse - L with a Trigger Systems Triton44 v2 Sump - 44 inch how would you plump this , first time ever doing a sump but firgured since I was starting over why not upgraded

Anytime you using an overflow think safety. For one if failure what would happen? Test all issues and think about getting some leak detectors just in case.

Well I have an Apex controller and they do carry modules like FMM; Leak Detector modules you can add them. I would for sure recommend a controller anyway. Sump failures usually happen when your on vacation. I had this happen and not good, I learned the hard way. Now I have leak detectors; alarm; etc it will shut off all my pumps if it detects a leak and email me or text me what the alarm is. I think a must have for any overflow.

You can get simple leak detectors at any local Big Box Hardware store. They are in the plumbing section usually near the hot water tanks. About $10 ea. I have one inside the stand near the sump and a couple more in back of the tank. Replace the batteries when you replace your smoke detector batteries and you will be good to go. Saved my bacon at least a couple times so far.
