I am in the progress of moving the main sump for a system that will ultimately service three tanks. After laying it out and getting my head around it, I have a concern I wanted to bounce off the brain trust of RC.
Sump - Tub style 50 gallon glass aquarium
Drill and use 2 bulkheads for circulation loop and skimmer supply
Problem (possible) - Has anyone ever had a problem having rigid connections into the glass? Can it be a problem with force on the glass pane?
My plan includes ball valves to enable pump removal and some times the valves work hard. That made me think of the force on the glass.
Ideas? Thoughts? Experiences?
