Ok bought a new house have to down size for a while. i boug ht a 70 gal with corner overflow but got this sump with it. its a sealife system a nd it had bio balls. i was wondering if i replace them with a bunch of tonga small peices if its better then them balls

Bio balls work great in fresh water but seem to be a nitrate factory in saltwater. If its a wet/dry filter built into the sump id just leave it empty.
