sump question

i am looking to build a sump in the next few weeks and i wanted to know if using 1/4" acrylic for a 36"x16"x17" sump would be fine. would i have to euro brace it?

I have one roughly those dimensions, and ended up at 3/8". 1/4" will bow significantly.

Euro brace it. It is going to warp anyway, even using 9mm acrylic. No sense helping it do so though.
