sump/refuge turnover for a 75 display?

I am wondering how high of a turnover i should go, with a 75gal display/30gal refuge/sump??? thanks the tank is a AGA mid left overflow

For the tank itself 30 times an hour should be minimum and would get you off to a good start. I myself have my 90 turning over 42 times an hour.

Im not really sure what mine is anymore from changes I have made. But I have decent flow in my fuge, but Chaeto likes flow.

3-5 times the display volume through the sump, fuge depends on what is in it and 30+times turnover for the display itself made up with powerheads and/or closed loops Just a rule of thumb

I used an eheim 1260 pump and it was totally quiet and worked great for my 75. Gave me a good turnover rate for a sump. Don't try to use the return pump as a part of the overall tank's turnover.
