I dont think they are parasites...Must be benificial just making sure. My Tank is Almost 2 months old now and my the best i have done. (third attempt) My refuge is looking great. Can anyone ID a worm or tell me they are not bad. Too small for pics but there are hundreds on the glass. The are less than 1/2 inch long, very slender. Red in the middle of their bodies and bluish/grey on both ends. Precaution check before i go further. Thanx.

Impossible to id something without at least a pic.

Decription does sound like small bristleworms to me, but again, without a pic, we are just guessing.

It's a possibility it's bristles. I have them living in my chaeto within my sump. Hard to tell though without a picture unfortunately :(

gonna try a pic, but i dought i can get on these things are tiny and do not look like any bristle worm pics. Try to have it up in a few

Tried to take a pic and they are tooo small and my photo skills suck! I can adjust the camera but i have no idea how to set it to get a close up of these guys. Gonna right them off as benificial and leave it at that:)

My photo skills suck. Used the marco settings upper left hand. Pic is horrible, but the only one i got you can actually see the profile

In this pic they are on the glass. They look like strands of algae till you get down there and look close. Just above the powercord and just above the rock. They are 3/4 red...from the center out. Both ends of the worm is a bluish/gray color. They move luike an earthworm.
