Sun coral in cryptic fuge

I got a freshly fragged piece of about 20 heads 3 days ago. I put it in the dt but my idol and regal keep nipping at it so I put it in my fuge which is a cryptic fuge, in order to be able to spit feed it and nurse it along.

I Linnea like it down there. Do they actually need any light to survive?

Not at all.
They grow in dark caves overhangs etc. On the other hand mine gets a few minutes of direct sun rays. It doesn't seem to care.

I don't have any sun corals.. but I do have some hidden cup corals.. they are nps corals as well... I have one colony that is in the light and one under an overhang with 0 light... both do great.. but the one in the open is easier to feed and is doing extremely well due to my over feeding habits lol

Same here ! Mine is in the light but I also have some hid and they both do well as long as they are fed !

It's doing great, I fed it the first 3 days since it was a fresh cut, now every other day. So much easier to feed in the fuge lol
