Hello folks how you doing , a month a go I got a sun coral after I spend couples of weeks reading about this coral . I place this coral in the shaded and there was a good flow in that area all my water parameters are good all my corals looks happy and growing , but this coral won't open , so I took it out put it in cup in dark place and feed it , after that it's open . Once it's open I feed it with bring shrimps babies . I did that couple of time and place it back in the tank . And target feed it and still not open . Took it back again and feed it in the cup and its
Open normally . So I don't know what to do to make it open in the tank

You might want to get yourself a 2 liter soda bottle and cut 2 or 3 inches off the bottom. Place this over the sun coral with the nozzle facing up. Defrost your food in a cup of water and then use a turkey baster or a syringe and squirt some of the juice into the soda bottle. Keep doing this until the coral opens up and then start offering it some food.
These things do need to be trained so to say, so don't give up. GL.

Thanks for ur comment , I already doing this but when I do that in the tank it's won't open but when I took it out and put in in a cup it's open . Do I need to keep trying to feed in the tank tell it's open .

And am using babies brine shrimp , reef roids and coral frenzy
Are you recommend any other type of food ???

Sun corals are not to particular about food IME. I've seen them eat just about everything to tell you the truth, it's just that they do require some training first. The only reason why this happens so quick in the cup is because the juice/food is concentrated in such a small space that you get a quick feeding response, as opposed to being dispersed rapidly in the DT. That's kind what the soda pop bottle is for. If you want to feed it in the DT your just going to have to keep trying. It's as simple as that. GL.
