Sundial snail question

is there anything out there that eats them? I pulled several out of my 50g today. I know there has to be more.

I don't know of any predators that eat sundial snails. There are however some predatory snails that eat other snails but not sure how you would get one of those. Just look at your zoo colonies and if you see sundials, pull them off.

I'd rather have sundials than nudibranchs.......the nudis are a pain to get rid of especially the eggs.

I have no clue where these came from. Other than a couple snails and hermits I have put nothing new in this tank in several months.

I have heard that some 6lines will eat the smaller ones, but the larger ones need to be picked out by hand.

Good luck.

Luckily the sundials do not propagate well in captivity and you can easily contain them by manual removal. They will suck zoas dry if not taken care of.
