Sunlight Supply Maristar 2 release date?

Hi Jeremy and Co.

I have recently seen pics and specs for the upcoming Maristar 2 fixtures. I am wondering if you have been told of a definite release date and a price list for these fixtures. My LFS told me possibly the end of October. I buy all my lighting from Premium Aquatics, so I am patiently waiting for them to show up on your site. Any info would be appreciated. TIA.

Should be pretty close to the current pricing, Supposed to be released Q1 of 2011.

Just got an update from Sunlight Supply on this. The Maristar 2 is now not expected to be released until February, with no retail pricing on it yet.

Did Sunlight Supply say why there is such a delay in these fixtures? It kind of makes me nervous since they were reported to originally hit the market late October early November...

The 4' versions will be released first, with the 2', 3', 5', and 6' version coming later. There haven't been any issues causing the delay, other than timing with their strategic partner on this. I have some photos I will get posted of this soon.

Just got word from SLS that they are 1 month out on them. They now have an office overseas and are getting this project kicked into high gear.

So, is it safe to say that Sunlight Supply doesn't intend on ever releasing this fixture. Almost a year after releasing the info on it, and as of yet, still not available anywhere?
