Sunlight Tek Light T5 Hood - 60" x 8 bulb

I have a question on this lighting Sunlight Tek Light T5 Hood - 60" x 8 bulb.
I see it is 19" wide. Is that the hole hood or the protective acrylic lens opening?
My tank is only 18" wide.

This is 19" wide from side to side, so the lamps actually take up less space than that.

My tank is only 72" long x 24" depth (sand bed to water line) and 18" wide. Do you think I would be better off with two 36" 6x39W Tek Light Elite T5 High-Output Fixture or one Sunlight Tek Light T5 Hood - 60" x 8 bulb.
I was also looking at ATI 6x80w 60" Sunpower lighting.

I would personally use the single 60" fixture. If your avatar photo is the same tank you're wanting to light it does not appear that you have corals placed all the way wto the end panels. They are set in from the side 6" or so, which this 60" fixture would work out perfect for you. You will also spend a lot less money on replacement lamps versus 2 x 36" fixtures.

Thanks Jeremy I think I will be getting the ATI Sunpower 60" 6x80w from you. I like that light more than Tek.
