What's your key for success with zoas?

Ha, I wish I knew. I have two sort of little rock towers in the back corners of my tank, one for palys and one for zoas. My hope is to have each covered with purdy colonies. For some reason my palys do a lot better than my zoas. And the Sunny's, I call them my Gena D's after a reefer that turned me on to them, are the fastest growing in my tank by far which is why I posted them, lol.

Here's a slightly better pic. There are over 40 polys in that colony.

Ya mine are growing RAPIDLY. I add about 3 polyps a week. I started with 5 polyps about 2 months ago and I'm now at about 30.

Oh and I forgot to mention I dose with Aquavitro Fuel and Brightwell Aquatics CoralAmino. I switch off between the 2. Rotating every day.

For my Zoa's, it seems like once I have them in a stable location, not getting jostled by hermit crabs, they seem to take off. I believe regular water changes are helping as well.

I have a ton of Z's & P's, but I find, at least in my tank, the one's that actually catch the broadcasted food I put in there grow the best. ......and the sunny's eat the best.

I noticed it was two frags, when they started to meet at growth did they just fuse together?

I just "planted" the two close together, since I wasn't sure either one would make it, lol. Now, I couldn't tell you which one's were the originals.

It's hard to count them, but I bet there are almost 50 polyps on there. I wish all my Z's & P's grew like they do!
