Hello all,
I have a Sunset Basslet (Liopropoma sp.) that, like all other Sunsets I have seen, has an overly inflated swim bladder. My previous Sunset had it particulary bad and eventually succumbed to the problem. I have had my current guy for 4 or 5 months and besides a slight problem with this rear end laying higher up than his head he has been fine.
Recently the problem has gotten worse - I can't think of anything that would aggrevate this problem as to my knowledge this issue occured during collection. So, who knows how to puncture air bladders on improperly decompressed fish? I am looking for specific instructions for how to do it on a fish this size, although any advise or experience you have would be much appreciated. Thanks.
