How well does this grow in comparison to other encrusting monti's?

I have it a little more then halfway up tank in the middle right under 4 T5 bulbs - two 10k daylights, one ATI purple plus and one ATI true Actinic.....i'm getting two ATI Blue plus bulbs to replace the 10k daylights soon)

unknown Alk as im out of tests, but i use Seachem Reef Fusion 1&2 so Alk is probably right where it should be


anyone know a typical growth rate for these?

For me, it is a fairly fast grower. Give it plenty of room

i have two variety one is fast like rainbow monti fast...the other is slow...the slow one is ugglier...lol

Like everything else, as it grows and settles, the rate accelerates!

Place it somewhere where you can control where it grows. It can be pretty aggressive.
