I'm considering this for my 75gal tank but I have a canopy it would have to fit under. How much clearance do I need from the top of the aquarium to the bottom of my hood? The opening is 3 1/2".

Does the canopy hang over the back edge of the tank, or does it stop right at the back?

It stops right at the back of the tank. I can move it away from the back a little bit if needed.


Jeremy, have you used this skimmer or seen it in action? I'm having a hard time finding any real world feedback on it.

You will need 4.25" of clearance between the top edge of the aquarium, and the bottom of your canopy. Then from there all of the height will set back behind the tank.

Thanks. Looks like I will have to go with a TEK Elite fixture instead of the ATI so I can loose the canopy.
