I boat out on the Elk River, the canal and even go down to Baltimore on the Chesepeake. So yes, mainly Maryland waters. the last weekend of June they have canal day, a great time if you never been there. Even cool just to drive on in and show off your toy.
How old is the RO membrane on this, and is it still for sale? Im in the Dover area and if your not all that far away I was definatly interested in picking this up.
I actually do need float switches, but I don't think that is the part I had in mind. The part I am thinking of either slows or cuts off the flow through a pipe. It is a motorized device that fits in line like a typical ball valve. I know there is a specific term for it, but I can't remember what it is called.
gordo>>>>>>>>>>There are two types, the valve you described is called a zone valve or a motorized gate valve, one that turns on and off is a solenoid valve and yes I have those too
I was thinking solenoid, but wasn't sure. I've always wanted to play around with one and I need to do a good bit of automating with my tanks because I will be away from them for 4-5 weeks this winter.
By that time I plan to having the lights controlled via a PC and have a web cam on a thermometer and pH probe. My gf should be able to check in on the tanks at least 3 times a week if not every day. I'll have to drop by sometime in the next couple months once I have things a bit more planned out.
hey jim glad to see that the boat is finished it looks great the tank is doing great what pumps do you still have let me know thanks John and when you are ready to get back into this hobby again i have a few safe cracker zoos for you lol
