Superglue to attach corals?

I've heard of many people using different super glues to attach their corals to their liverock..
I've got a few different types of glues laying around my house and I don't want to just start shooting glue out in my tank without knowing what's safe to use and what's not..
If you use a glue to attach your corals, please post what type..
Or what NOT to use.

crazy glue gel works fine.

I personally use coral glue,& epoxy.

I use it under the water,it depends on what u r glueing.

works great for sps and lps frags kinda iffy on softies unless they have healed over or have some rubble attached

dry rubble, lift out softie, dry spot to glue, glue it out of water, wait 10 seconds, drop back in water. works great for xenia, not so well for ricordia

thats mainly what i need to glue is some ricordias.. but they have rubble on them, just wanna attach a few to a rock..
and attach my capnella thats on a branch to my rock.

if they are rubbled---go with superglue gel out of the tank, it should be simple.

So just regular plain old Super Glue, that you can buy anywhere? One of my LFS told me I needed the special $20 a bottle glue that they sell.

Plain ole Crazy Glue Gel works fine.

Either use the gel type or use the standard stuff and keep it in the freezer. It gets a gel-like consistency when cold. This works well with the single-use little tubes. Use 'em and toss 'em.

Be sure that, with shrooms & rics, you are gluing the rubble. If you glue directly on the shroom, it will secrete, detach and float away in the current. It will be fine, but usually goes somewhere that you can't reach.

For those that don't have stone or sand on the bottom, you will need to wrap them in some fabric store wedding netting with your rubble for a couple weeks and it will attach itself.

I usually only use glue/epoxy for hard corals and mesh material for softies. I've also used toothpicks for stuff like colts and tree corals. Cheers
