superman monti lighting

Just curious where people had their superman montis. Mine was looking real good for a few weeks after getting it (coloring up real blue on the new growth and filling in a couple of rough spots completely) but then in the past couple of days it got a patch on the side that has started receding. It seems to have started happening quick. I tested all of my tank params just last night and they are fine. Everything else in the tank looks to be doing good.

So... I suspect it to be a lighting issue, but I don't really know whether to move it up or down. It's about halfway up my 90 right now. Thoughts?

Here's what I tested yesterday. There are a few things that needed minor adjustment (and I did), but for the most part everything was what I would consider "in range" when I tested.

Salinity = 35
pH = 8.00
Alkalinity = 8
Ammonia = 0.00
Nitrites = 0.00
Nitrates = 0.00
Phosphates = 0.00
Temperature = 78.3
Calcium = 395
Magnesium = 1395

Some possibilities:

Acclimation to lighting / too much lighting.
Acclimation to your tank params (if it came from a super high or super low alk, etc.)
Predator (something that eats at the monti)
Flow (too much or too little flow over the piece)
Fish nipped it (my kole sometimes nips my plating and encrusting monti's -- not maliciously, but as he bounces around the rock looking for algae, he sometimes give a monti a nip)

Since it is isolated to one spot, I'd guess Predator or Fish nip first. The others are possibilities also.

I had something similar happen with my poker stars monti. I moved it down in the tank and it seems to be doing better. I would try moving it around a bit and also check for predators as already mentioned.

Wish I could help; but mine gave up the ghost 2 weeks ago.
Tank params fine, thought light was too much, so I lowered it.
Receding areas never got any better no matter where I put it in the tank.
Everything else is looking great, guess this is just one of those corals I'm not meant to have
