Supplementing LEDs

I broke my 135 SPS tank down about 7 months ago, and I'm coming back. I had good success with my two Radion G2s, but was never totally happy with the color of some of my SPS, especially blues and purples. I'm thinking of adding T5 to supplement. Will two 54w tubes be enough to make a difference, or am I wasting my time?? Tank measures 48x24x27

T5 leds are a good idea. I just added two ATI blue plus. Prior to adding the t5's I had good luck with Fauna Marin Color Elements - Blue Purple Complex.
Or just potassium. It colored up my blue corals nicely. KZ Pohl's works good for pinks.
On a side note I added t5's as my growth was slow. I'm thinking the slow growth is due to lack of nutrients. My po4 and no3 is at zero but that's a whole other story. [emoji5]

I have a 75G that is 48"x18" and I use 4 54W T5's supplemented with LED. Sometimes I wish I had 6 T5, and less LED because I like the way the T5's show the color. My coral however are doing fantastic! The LED definitely give them all they need to grow and color up, I just like the way the color looks under just T5 a little better.

My LED setup is DIY though, so a manufactured one would probably be better, you can see my website (In my sig) on the setup tab for more details about my light.

I have two 2-bulb retrofit kits, so maybe I can squeeze them in with the two Radions. The Radion is a bit fatter than the SOL (which I used to run with the four tubes)

Blues should not be a problem with LED. Typically blues and greens look best. Purple is another story, reds are probably the hardest.

I run a coral+ and a blue+ in addition to my G2 pros. I can honestly say I have not noticed any difference, but I also have 1 unit/ft in my tank so that is probably at play.

T5's with LED is good. More LED's might burn your corals, and T5s are so much softer that you can add them in without too much risk. Plus it should look pretty good since it will still have the shimmer but not be quite so harsh.
