Support for RC

These recent months have been full of 'Where's TOTM', and various other complaints followed by the recent downtime here. There have been several sticky's regarding the upgrades to be coming soon, and it is unfortunate that some people just missed them and made comments. All that aside, I have been a regular member since before I set up my tank.

I have realized that these guys do us a HUGE service here. I basically feel like a dou*&% for not supporting them by paying for the premium membership. I have been saved $24 probably a hundred times by avoiding mistakes with the help of RC members. I just paid my dues.

There is no excuse, if you can afford a reef tank, you can afford to support them. The new RC should be awesome. A big thanks to all RC staff.

Thanks for your support. The changes coming to Reef Central will be making it much nicer for our membership!!

Congrats Noah...you were the first new Premium Member since our troubles yesterday. Much appreciated.

I agree. After all, if you divide your time on RC into the cost to be a premium member, the cost is almost negligible. Anyway, that is my viewpoint.

*golf clap*

Very well put..

But yes...all kidding aside. I do agree with the OP. We all should pay our dues to help the site that has helped us all so much.

I honestly don't know if I would still be in the hobby if not for this site. Or at least have the success that I am having. My tank isn't perfect yet but I'm slowly getting better thanks to RC.

Notice all the responses are from the folks with the "I support RC" logo.... (other than the mods)...

just an observation.

I agree we all need to help support RC. I have really enjoyed being a member of this forum. And have met a lot of nice people on here as well. The staff do a great service for us.

Looking forward to the new changes. :)

The only reason I'm not a premium member is because I do not have a paypal account to transfer the funds. Is this the only way?

I didn't say it wasn't free, I said I did not have an account. Not really the point, but I don't have a bank account/credit card and therefore have no Paypal account. Just my personal preference. Is there any other way to pay the 'dues'?

you have to wash beerguys feet if you dont have a paypal acount (just kidding)
Imagine how awesome this site could be if everyone paid for the premium membership
show some love and payup
seriously though thanks to all RC staff members and/or volunteers

I just like the free advise and the real life exsperiences you can get here. Plus the staff is always awsome. I also like when the staff has to hand out spankins to the negative boneheads or the ignerant loudmouths! :fun4: :fish1: :fish2:  :celeb1: :wavehand:

you guys are doing a great job. keep it up. $24 is nothing compared to what we spend on this hobby. there is always good people on here willing to help. just my $.02

An entire month of hard labor. Drops to 3 weeks when you renew next year though.

Just ask in the feedback forum how else you could pay, im sure they would accept a money order.

paypal is free, all you need is a checking account. and yes, it's the only way to pay i believe
not exactly free when they charge you 3% for incoming funds.
Does the membership automatically renew each year with no way of canceling the membership?
