Surge Questions Again..

Hello got my carlson surge setup mixing water as I type this.. I was wondering what the ideal time between surges is? The tank is going to be mixed so both lps and sps.. Right now it is cycling at approx 12 times an hour.. I can put a larger return pump and it cycles about 20 times per hour.. With my mag 12 it will cycle at almost 50+ times an hour... The display tank is approx 58 gallons and the surge reservoir holds approx 10g of water before it lets go....

I have mine setup for every 4 minutes, I think yours is currently set for about 5 which should be fine in my mind

Thanks for the info.. I put a slightly larger pump and it is currently cycling every 3 minutes or so... It's just rock and water right now.. I'm gonna wait another week or so before I add any livestock...
