Surpise baby Octos. Now what?

That's something that not many people experience! I hate when things breed and it's impossible to tank raise.. :/

Sorry for your loss. How large did they get. You say 5-6x birth size, but to me that could be from the size of a ball point pen to a piece of rice.

Could you tell they were octos at that size, or did they just look like little larva things?

At birth you needed a scope. At 1/4 inch you could see all 8 arms.

No. Replaced with a peacock mantis.

Twenty days is not bad at all for hatchlings from small eggs. We keep hoping that someday we'll be able to raise them to adulthood.
