Swallowtail Angel

Anybody have any experience with these? Hardiness on a scale of 1-5, five being easy. Any feeding issues? I appreciate it, thanks.

I kept a pair of blackspot swallowtails and found them easy to keep and hardy. Some of the deepwater species are not as hardy and many are damaged in collection. If you are going to keep one of the deepwater species you must make certain they are from a reputable dealer and in good shape. The blackspot and lamark's are the most common shallow water species and I would rate them a 4, most of the others are deep water fish and rate a 2 to 4 depending on how they were collected. Unlike other angels they are planktivores and are pretty reef safe. Mine ate everything I fed and really liked mysis and other meaty seafoods. HTH
