I won an LPS labeled Pontajonia yesterday. Does anybody know what this is? I've looked it up but I found nothing.

That is probably a favia pentagona. A certain strain of this species goes by the name "War coral".

I won one too, and to make it worst I couldn't read the smudged marker! I tried a quick search but didn't find out much, I'll try War Coral next, let me know and I'll let you know if I find anything out.

War Coral is one specific color morph of that coral, as is the "Peace Coral", you can see them at reefready.net (Since Matt was the one who named them)... however the ones at the raffle were not those specific lineage, however care should be similar.

It's Pentagonia. I had a feeling it was mislabeled.

About 15 minutes before the swap about 100 corals showed up unlabeled and in the race to label them legibility went out the window! Sorry bout that.
