Sweepers vs Aipstasia

Depends on the coral. . . I've heard that a healthy elegance will always win, though some of the more passive LPS I'm not so sure...

IME aptasia, they are nasty lil things you def want to get rid of them. Get some peppermint shrimp they'll usually get the job done.

Try squirting them directly with a small amount of Kalkwasser. It might help to turn off your pumps before doing it so that the Kalk doesn't get blown away.

And the thicker the solution, the better it is...

Just squirting them when they are open will do the trick. Sometimes they will recede into the rockwork and they won't get enough of the Kalk and you'll need to try again when they reappear. As pink_floyd mentioned, a thicker solution/paste tends to work better.

I put in a smaaal torch coral right next to an aipasia , forgetting that it was there, and the troch killed it in 2 days.
...take that aipasia

I had a fairly big aptaisia that i just hadnt gotten around to injecting. I bought a pear bubble and put it in the vicinity and the aptaisia disapeared. A couple of days later the aptaisa started to poke its head out again then this weekend i saw my bubble had two sweepers in the whole the aptaisia was in. I havent seen it since. I dont know if it is completly gone or not but i am sure it isnt happy.

I'm getting excited about adding LPS to my tank at this point. If candy cane can also kill aipstasia, all the better
