Sweet Anemone Shrimp Spotted while Diving! Lets go collecting!

I seen some sweet Pederson's anemone shrimp yesterday while diving in 45ft on some huge Condys on natural ledges West out of the Skyway. They are about 1 inch long so they are quite a bit larger than a Sexy shrimp nice florescence blue stripes even with very low light penetrating due to murky water! Bright white antennas. There were a ton on nice corals and loads of ornamental fish too!
Tons of Macro algae. reds, blues, oranges, greens, etc.

I am interested in collecting a few shrimp and seeing how well they do in my Anemone haven.

I was out Spearfishing so I had no holding containers. I wasn't even doing any "sight seeing" was strictly spearfishing but noticed these on a grouperless ledge. I could only imagine what is down there if I was actually looking for critters!

Anybody down to do a trip out and see what we bring home?
A decent bottom finder is always nice for finding natural ledges!

I don't have a boat but can put us on some nice ledges. Let me know if there is any interest.

I always dive with a speargun, so Hogfish, grouper, snapper etc is a given if the captain is OK with that.

I don't dive but do fish quite a bit. Got a new boat a couple months ago and I'm starting to build a log of numbers with ledges and structure that we fish from 35-150 ft. Would be happy to take a group out sometime for some fishing/diving. Its a 32ft boat with plenty of room if we want to get a group together.

As bad as it sounds I would much rather collect my own wild caught animals vs getting it from a store because I know that I respect the habitat that I will be collecting from. But I do support Aquaculture.

32ft! :inlove: Whats a fuel split for say 3 guys? I am more than willing to chip in some spots too. I really am interested in diving some ledges with collecting in mind. I'm PMin you my # and we can get together and make this happen!

Your a fisherman so you like fish? So you would not mind some spearfishing as well as collecting?

I dont have a boat or dive but would like to help topside if i was aloud to go. Share cost of fuel

The biggest factor is a boat. Second factor is if the captain wants you on his boat! Spots on boats are not giving they are earned. Besides the obvious fuel split, there is maintenance on the boat(salt water hates everything), trailer, wheels, wear and tear on truck, etc...that the captain has to deal with, so he definitely doesn't want to be pulling anchor or baby sitting squids on his boat.

I have buddies with boats but captains are weird about spots on their boats. They only want experienced guys on their boat and they will kill over numbers. My guys are all spearfisherman and we spear hard all day no time for collecting...

Boat > gold
