I'd say there's a pretty good chance they're Caribbean.

i have some blue zoas with green fringe from the caribbean too, but they are not as dark blue in the center. what type of MH lighting do you have? thanks, g

Thanks. I was thinking that they were from the carrib. but didn't want to sound dumb. The lights are 2x250 XM 15k.

what location in your tank do you keep these zoanthids? how long did it take to color up? can you comment on the rate of growth? i have 1 x 150w Phoenix 14k and keep them far away from the MH lighting at the bottom of my tank. i wish i could take better macro shots#@%!

I keep them in the middle of both MH's, about halfway down the tank. They only took a couple of weeks to fully show their colors. As for the growth, they don't grow any considerable amount, maybe 1-2 polyps a month if that.
