Sweet little goby

My first and only addition to my nano/Pico. He has finally settled in and looks like my shrimp has as well. Was able to get a shot of them after trying for nearly a week lol. Just thought Ild share.

This has to officially be one of my favorite reef fish. He escorts the shrimp as they go from one hole to another in the main rock.

They're a great looking pair. Must be the coolest thing to witness! Would the shrimp attack other snails opportunistically?

Thanks! I don't think it could, at least at this size or at all? Pretty funny watching the goby try to pester the snails though.

Just realized it from the pic, but in case anyone's wondering that is not the size of my substrate through and through. It's mostly fine aragonite, them I've sand, medium, and a thin layer of course on top for pods.

Olds say the shrimpis around .75" or just shy of it. The goby is approximately 1.75"? Little for sure!

Awesome. We should have gotten that goby when we got that shrimp but they didn't have any, our orange-spotted goby hooked up with the peppermint instead LOL. Now I'm the goby for the pistol!
That shrimp won't get large enough to hurt anything in the tank, and ours has never even tried.
