I have a watanabei female that acts like she want to float to the surface all the time and has to swim down and head down. If she stops swimming she floats up a bit.
Some reason I can't share the video of deep water butterfly getting this procedure but if you friend me on facebook. Andrew Sandler NY. Then I'll accept you and its the first video of Joe from riverhead aquarium doing this.
The other route you can go. And I have been only told this and have never used it. But treat in hospital tank with acetazolomide. I think that's spelling but let me check
One more thing. I have a deep water butterfly that had same issue. And the procedure was performed a week ago. I'm going to the aquarium to see the fish tomorrow so I will tell you how it worked. I may myself need to treat fish with that medicine I just gave you if fish is not completely healed. It is a decompression gas swim bladder issue.
You tempted to try this or the meds. I think this might have to be used in conjunction with. I know they also put some kannaplex and furan in water just prevention after procedure.
I am tempted, but not in a hurray. The drug you list is not spelled correct. The closest thing is (Acetazolamide) Diamox but I do not think that is it. Diamox is not an antibiotic but used to treat a variety of conditions not related to infection.
