Switching MH bulbs? Experiencing bleaching?

I recently(6 days ago) switched my Metal Halide bulb since then I haven't seen any of my SPS grow. And I am also experiencing some bleaching on my Monti-caps. I was having steady growth before. I went from a 10k coralife bulb to a 14k phoenix bulb.

I figured that they need some time to adjust to the new bulb. Should I do anything different? Like change light schedule, etc?

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Charley

u could cut down the light cycle for acclimation or raise the light if possible then gradually lower it back down.

Not possible to lower the light. I currently run the lights from 12-9:30. I guess after doing a little research thats to long anyways. I'm gonna change it to 3:00-9:30

Yeah man, coral life bulbs are junk so it's no doubt your haveing issues with bleaching with the new bulb. Looks like your taking steps to acclimate your corals to the new bulbs.

Yeah I'm aware lol... So that makes sense. We'll see how everything goes. I currently just got new corals from LA divers den. And I have them as low as I can get them I will slowly bring them up over the course of 10-20 days.
