Fish addition

Fish addition

This guy came in my way...so I took a change and got it....

The Red Sea or two-banded clownfish / anemonefish (Amphiprion bicinctus).

Really nice build. Just read it all. Nice little clown. Will he go in your tank when it is ready? Will you be able to collect from the ocean everything for your tank?

Thank you Lacy...... Might possible the little clown will back to it home "sea", this time I am looking for a mated pair of maroon clown for my tank.....

Not at all.... Corals and live rocks are restricted.... actually I don't know about sand collection..... for this reason I took dead rock and cycled it in another tank two months before started this built.

Sand Addition

So here we go...

Time to update.... :)

I added sand in the sump "refugium" and DT. Fine sand in DT and thicker grain in the sump.

You can see the upper layer, which is light in color is fine sand and bottom layer which is thicker sand. This is refegium picture.

Close up of Sand in Refugium..... AS said earlier I collected two different grain size sand......

Fine grain and white sand for DT, as it will give more bright look and will help for more reflection at the bottom of the tank and thicker grain for Sump..... because of less water flow in the chamber where DSB located I chose thick grain sand to let it oxygenate easily. Fine sand will cause to built up Sulphur problem.

Super work bro.......... you are doing all this work with very dedication and hard work.

Keep it up and Good luck.

Rock Work - Aquascape

Shifted all the rock from Warehouse to my home. As I mentioned earlier that I collected Dead rocks. I washed it with strong pressure fresh water, and cured them in quarantine tank for almost two months. The Coraline started to covering the rocks. I will take some close ups for you guys and will post here.

Rock Work - Aquascape

Joseph and Velvin made my work very easy. Special thanks for their helping hands.

I used 1/5" PVC pipe to make base for holding rocks. Made several holes in the rocks to tie up with cable tie.

At the end PVC pipe and ties covered with Epo Putty to make natural look.

Here we go.

Rocks work moved in the Tank. We all together lifted the whole stuff and with extra cautions put in the tank.
