Symphyllia Help

Hi,

I'm not sure what's wrong with my Symphyllia, yesterday morning the right side start to lose it color and little bit of flesh.
NOt sure why is it possible because of crap?

My water volume 700G

My water parameter:
pH: 8.1
Alk: 8.4
NO2: 0
NO3: 1.5
PO4: 0.1
Specific Gravity: 1.022
Calcium: 430
Magnesium: 1215
Temperature: 24c - 26c

Lighting I'm using sunlight and LED Strip 460 NM

Your no3 is high and your specific gravity and magnesium are both low.

You should definitely bring your SG up to 1.025/1.026. Your Magnesium should come up a bit as well.

I doubt either of those things is causing this though. Your lighting may not be adequate for where it is/was located and the flesh will start receding on the sides where it isn't getting light. It also may not be getting enough food and slowly shrinking. What have you been feeding?

I agree that slowly raising your salinity to 35ppt or 1.0264specific gravity would be wise for coral health.

How much direct sunlight is this coral receiving?

Also, I'm not sure if you angled the coral for the picture, but I would orient it on the rockwork so that it isn't laying with the weight of the colony on a small amount of tissue. Some epoxy and superglue combined can help secure it to a piece of rock.

Thanks for the help.
I move it up little bit and put epoxy to hold it.
When I notice the problem there were some slimy thing, it possible grazed by my snail.
Now it start to regrow back already, I post pic tomorrow.
