Anyone know who does it? It was a nice surprise. Beautiful leathers. Huge colonies. The orange cap has to be 2'x2 at least. Crystal water. At least 500gallons. Well done!

The tank is ~770 gallons. It's bigger than it looks thanks to a large front-back dimension.

I was involved in the initial system design, equipment selection, working with the tank vendor (Miracles), fundraising, etc. The volunteer project team fell apart right around the time the tank was delivered (our leader moved out of state and the Museum's project manager left, so we pretty much lost contact) - I'm not sure who ended up actually building the system or who is maintaining it now but I'm glad it looks so nice.

There are some pretty "easy" corals in there but it's a nice mix of softies, sps, and lps. The water quality looked great. And front to back, it's impressive. I'd LOVE to see it from the top. That cap's gotta look amazing.

Rumor has it, Fantastic Aquarium does it. I have tried to get in contact with a few of the board members at the MOST but have had absolutely no success.

I was also involved initially. Nate, myself and a couple others built the stand the tank sits on. It is nice to see it looking that good, and a little surprising.

I still haven't been in to see it because I feel partly responsible for dropping the ball on the whole volunteer project. At the time I was left as the only, or possibly one of two remaining volunteers when my wife was pregnant and on bed rest. But we built one heck of a stand! We even sliced up some really beautiful plywood they were planning to turn into a conference table for the top of it. They were not thrilled about that.

Mike, I don't know what your level of interest is in the tank but I would suggest contacting Tony Ortega.
