T-5 over a 55 gal question

I'm a little embarrassed to be asking this. I'm being forced to downsize. I'm going from a 150 gal to a 55 gal. Will I need a quad bulb fixture to support SPS like monti's or will a dual bulb be enough? I have MH and T-5's over my 150 but they're going with the tank. I know I'll need to "acclimate" my corals to the different lighting(most will be going). I have a retrofit dual bulb I can put over the 55 and I need to know if I'll need more. Thanks in advance.

2 bulb doesn't seem like enough for SPS. I'd definitely go 4. I have a 6 bulb over a 65 SPS dominated

4 bulbs minimum. A good retro fit will work if you have a canopy.
