T-5 question

Who uses them, what bulbs are you using and where is the best place to buy bulbs and ballasts. I currently am running 5- 10,000k's and 3 actinic's on my 65 gallon tank. They are the 39 watt bulbs.

Should I have 4 actinics?

I have a Tec light 4x54 watt fixture on our 90. Our tank is all softies - so the par is fine for our needs.
I have 2 - 10,000k, and 2 actinics, and have always matched the actinics to the whites. Personal taste - I like the blue from the actinics.

We are in the process of setting up a new 150. I'm going back to MH / VHO. Strictly personal taste - I just miss the shimmer I got from our MH's.
The T5's are a bit more efficient, and from what I have read Icecap is still the preferred ballast.

I am running 6x54 on my 65gal mostly sps. I am using 2aqua blues, 2 actinic pluses, 1 actinic, and one ge 6500k. I love my t5's and I switched from 250watt MH and 130watt PC. I got my fixture used from the selling forum.

Ohh BTW I would only use 1 actinic and use 3 actinic pluses.

Giesemann all the way. The other brands are junk...IMO.

DIYReef.com has good prices on the Giesemann bulbs and good shipping, I have orderd bulbs form them before and everything went great.
