T. clam i.d. (hybird)?

i'm told it's T. squamosa however it looks like T. derasa with scutes or a hybird. i'm thinking derasa, what do you guys think?

Could be a hybird or T.maxima.

any chance to show us more pictures? picture from the top?

Looks like a derasa with some scutes to me. It could have had some stress's that caused an irregular growth pattern.

I was thinking T.derasa before as well, but when i look at the shell again and again, i don't think it is a pure T.derasa....

i am positive thats a derasa I have had to many not to know that.

but derasa is supposed to have a smoth shell, no scutes, coloration looks like derasa though, very strange

Show the byssal opening. Mantle coloration is a poor way to ID a clam.
