T. maxima detached itself

Hey gang,
I had a small hair algae problem and while cleaning my tank I realized that one of my T. maximas has detached itself. It was in this spot for over 3 months before detaching. Is this something I should be concerned about?
The hair algae problem was just a simple matter of changing the filters on my RODI.
